Growing Readers is a kindergarten through third grade professional learning opportunity that provides consistent job-embedded professional learning to teachers on effective reading instruction. The project aims to support teachers in increasing the number of children reading at grade level by the end of third grade. Growing Readers is a statewide RESA initiative that equips teachers with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to teach reading.

Growing Readers is a statewide RESA initiative that equips teachers with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to teach reading. All 16 RESAs in Georgia participate in the project.  The project is funded by the Governor’s Office of Student Achievement and the Georgia Department of Education.
