In 2018, Fulton County Schools opened its first S.A.F.E. Center at Banneker High School.  Serving as a wraparound center it provided additional support services that helped eliminate any type of academic barriers for students.  Now in 2023, Fulton County Schools has expanded their reach adding two additional sites: Tri-Cities and North Springs High Schools.  All three schools are currently in the planning stages of the community school strategy and strive to be designated as Whole Child Model Schools. Metro RESA has been a lead partner in this process providing coaching since Fall of 2021 and were honored to attend the ribbon cutting ceremonies which took place December 2022 – February 2023.  We are excited to continue our support of Fulton County Schools in playing a vital role in supporting their communities.
